Bay Island Driftwood Museum: Located in the beautiful village of Kumarakom is a museum showcasing unique collection of superior quality driftwood sculptures of rich artistic value. The India Book of Records (2013) also has certified that the Bay Island Driftwood Museum is the only driftwood museum in India that showcases driftwood of various shapes and sizes.

Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall:  which is just around 18 kms from Kottayam town and 2kms from the picturesque Kumarakom is a charming spot, with its wooded landscape and the rumbling cascade.
